Organization for Astronomical and Scientific Investigations (OASI) is controlled by a council that have 12 Administrative Officers who have direct contacts with the adviser board of OASI. The main adviser of the OASI is Prof. Asiri Nanayakkara [PhD Iowa State University, USA. (Physics) 1988 / MS Ohio University, USA (Physics) 1983 / B.Sc (Honors) University of Colombo (Mathematics) 1980] who has being working as a research professor at Institute of Fundamental Studies.

Also there are 25 Regional Officers for every district who are directly controlled by the Co-Ordinator or the above Administrating Council itself. Those regional officers have to investigate and inform every incident happening on their areas that related to OASI. They can have 10 maximum numbers of Assistant Regional Officers under the approval of the Administrating Council.

Also OASI has vast number of Research Officers, Investigators, Analytical Officers and Project Officers in addition to other members.
